Estefanía Suissa was born in Paris. Her passion for the art of flamenco takes her to Seville in 1994. During six years she immerses into Andalusian culture in order to study the foundations as well as the roots of this art. In 1995 her work is supported by the “Lavoisier Scholarship” (French Foreign Ministry).
In 1999 she starts her professional career. She is invited to dance in famous European Flamenco Festivals where her work and personality are unanimously remarked by the professionals.
With her great work capacity and concentration Estefanía is “inhabited” by the sake of accuracy from which she was inspired by the great masters such as El Torombo, Andrés Marín, Juana Maya and Eva Yerbabuena. However her dance is made of inspiration, passion and suspended energies. Estefanía Suissa takes part of the generation of artists who are emotionally integrated in today’s life without betraying the orthodoxy of their art. She brings her own sensibility and a new spirit for research and creation.
In 2007 she creates the performance "Flamenco…entre nosotros".
In 2009 she takes part in the cycle Peñas de guardia in Seville.
